About Photo Holiday Workshops
My workshops are designed for all levels of photographers and cover all aspects of a typical fashion shoot. With my photographic knowledge, technical skills and revealing my professional secrets you will enhance your portfolio, boost your confidence and gain an invaluable experience to inspire you on your future assignments. Every year, I host workshops in several locations in Italy and UK. I choose locations according to the assignment, story and clothes. They are outdoor locations in the centre of Rome, the beach or with Romans monuments. In the event of bad weather we will use the villa and a studio. Your final images will be dynamic, creative and have a high end look similar to the photography industry standard. This will be achieved with the help of a highly motivated professional hair and make up artist, a wardrobe stylist and most importantly with professional agency represented models, all currently working in the photographic field. Having working creatives on set will give you the opportunity to ask questions and collaborate as a team to create the final image. All my workshops are carried out in association with industry leader lighting company Elinchrom and The Flash Centre. The workshop participant numbers are small and exclusive, so we can focus on individuals needs. It does no matter whether you are already a professional, an amateur or coming from a different photographic field. We are confident that after our workshops you will have gained in depth knowledge, have new ideas and most importantly you will have inspirations and skills you can put into practice for your future projects.

About Dan
Dan from MelDany Photography was born and grew up in Rome, Italy where he had a dream to become a photographer. He then moved to London in the early 90′ where he started his adventure in the photographic industry. He graduated in photography at the famous and international acclaimed University for the Creative Arts. His professional career in photography started by training and assisting with several fashion and advertising photographers. Also doing workshops in several colleges in UK including Central San Martin.
Dan has been working in the industry for the past 15 years continuously travelling between the UK and Italy working for magazines, companies and running workshops. He is a working photographer with skills and knowledge of shooting for high-profile clients in the studio and on location.
Dan is an fashion, portrait and commercial photographer. His love for art has been clear since the very early days and his deep adoration for the ‘creative’ grew stronger and stronger year after year, and slowly turned into a little colourful addiction to nurture and cherish everyday. Dan has worked alongside some of the most professional and influential teams in the industry and has built an extensive client list over the years. His work is published in several national and international magazines.
